Testimonials
After struggling for many years with deep feelings of disconnection, emotional 'flatness' and self-doubt - resulting in a heart problem - it was both wonderful (to put it mildly!) and inspiring to feel on the second to last day my heart open once more to the joy of being alive, present and part of a loving universe. The strong qifield, great natural setting, and the warmth and wisdom from all the gathered Ren Xue community members made for a safe, supportive environment in which to begin to reconnect to shen and to explore unhealthy patterns of thought and feelings. Love has reawakened making for an unforgettable experience. GM
Here's the event registration information from 2017:
Inspired by the great feedback from last year we want to take the opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of the 5 Xin Qualities - to weave them into our everyday lives to support our growth, healing and positive development.
Our programme is designed for overall life enhancement and to maximise positive change in all participants. Supported by a powerful Qi-field this retreat aims to improve health and well-being through Yuan Gong Qigong practice and in-depth Ren Xue teachings. These are powerful tools for self-development and healing, which nourish life at deep levels. The days are planned to provide a range of activities including:
● Teaching and practice of Yuan Gong Qigong Methods ● Group & individual Qi Healing sessions ● Ren Xue life cultivation teachings ● Group discussions ● Individual Qi therapy and Ren Xue counselling sessions
As well as having some free time to walk and take in the nature.
The retreat is organised and facilitated by experienced teachers from around New Zealand and Australia. Their collective perspectives, diversity of skills and depth of knowledge across a multitude of personal wellbeing and healing disciplines, forms the foundation of this retreat.
Wainui Heights is again our venue for 2017. Surrounded by lush bush and birdsong, the venue is nestled in the hills of Banks Peninsula approximately 1½ hours drive from Christchurch airport and twenty minutes from Akaroa. It is spacious and heated with warm log fires.
After last year’s success, the Trust is again sponsoring the first day of the retreat as a ‘teachers only’ day to enable teachers to come together to share their experiences, practice together, network and build a qi-field that welcomes and supports the programme and all participants.
This day is free to all teachers who have completed at least one level of the teacher training, and includes accommodation, and food.
Can I attend if I am a beginner?
Absolutely. Everyone - including those very new to Yuan Gong is welcome. However, if you are a beginner we strongly recommend reading “Wellbeing Begins With You” before you come. This will give you a good foundation in the theories and principles of Qigong and Ren Xue and make a real difference in your ability to experience deep change, and gain tangible long lasting benefit from the retreat
