Qigong / Ren Xue Retreat | 10 – 17 November 2012 | Kaiapoi, Christchurch
Testimonials Adored the retreat! Totally life changing and inspiring. I am finally motivated to do a minimum of 1 hour morning practice and standing form every night, after years of doing qigong a little half heartedly. I am more healthy, happy, empowered and sleeping better. I’m having a love affair with Ren Xue and Qigong and it feels wonderful. (S.P.) I arrived at the retreat having had chemotherapy a few days before. I was really worried that I wouldn’t be able to take part, as in the past I had been very ill with chemo side effects. I was absolutely amazed to find that after a day and a half I was feeling well, no side effects and able to take part in everything. I’m sure that the wonderful Qi field helped me overcome the effects of the chemo. By the end of the week I was feeling great; the person I was sitting beside said I was “absolutely glowing.” When I returned home and had a blood count before my next chemo, I was thrilled to see that the count showed a 222 point drop, meaning the cancer was reducing. Not cured yet, but I will continue to practice Qigong and feel confident about the future. (Pauline). Initially I was having trouble deciding whether or not to attend for two reasons. One being lack of money. The other being, I wrongfully thought that because Yuan Tze would not be there it may not be that good. However I decided in the end that the Qifield would probably be beneficial so I went. I have been to four of YuanTze’s retreats since 2009. They have all been very good for me and I always make progress. The November 2012 Retreat was also equally, possibly even more beneficial, and this became clear to me from about the Sunday afternoon to Monday morning. As a result, I applied myself to the best of my ability. I know I have a long way to go but with the help of these retreats, my daily practice and determination I can elevate my life and help other people. Thank you very much for the opportunity and yes I will be at the next retreat. Cheers (John) It was a beautiful and eye-opening experience for me. Learning to calm your mind is a very helpful tool to become closer to staying calm, natural, happy, joyful and humble. The biguan (practice of keeping silent) was the first one for me, and without it, the retreat wouldn’t have had the same effect. I met so many beautiful and lovely people without saying a word. The time just flew by and I got carried through by this massive big Qi-ball. The teachers were so understanding, lovely and helpful and I learned a bit from everyone. I would recommend it to everyone and if we all do Zhineng Qigong, we would live in a better world. Thank you, (Rainer) First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you amazing teachers and the great work and such an effort that you have put into this retreat to make it happen. Thanks to you all we had a chance to meet and share a week of our lives with so many beautiful people. I have to say that the week spent at the retreat was a very special time of my life and I’m very grateful that I could be part of that. (Jana) The retreat has had a much deeper effect on me than I had anticipated. I have been doing daily practice since, not because I ought, but because I need it. Even though I am a beginner I already experience greater physical, mental and spiritual well-being. (Jude) It has been a great experience. Even though I felt I was not prepared enough, I learned a lot in a short time. I enjoyed the company of all the beautiful people (how you can be with so many people in a silent way and feel so connected!) and the great energy about the place. Since I have been back home I have still been getting up at 6 and doing some qigong, I sleep so much better and also seem to be able to do lots of tasks in the day, with some more clarity and focus to do one thing at a time. Overall I feel very good and so pleased that I have come to the retreat and looking forward to the next one. (Renate) |
