Every year, on the first Sunday in October, the Ren Xue community gathers together in a very special Qifield to celebrate Global Awakening Day.  All over the world, Ren Xue friends and practitioners find a special place in their environment to reflect and set intentions for the year to come. The next Ren Xue Global Awakening Day will be Sunday, October 6th, 2024.

To help celebrate this special day here are some events that you can join, also a meditation, and videos from previous Global Awakening Days.

Yuan Qigong Whangarei & Northland

10.00am Gather at the woolshed for morning tea (Waitati)
11.00 am Walk up the hill for those who want and depending on the weather 
12.00 pm Healing meditation for the world (to connect in with the Qifield of Yuan Tze and Mellissa's event in Australia) 
12.45 Pot luck lunch 
14.00pm Movie screening of the Documentary 'Any Given Moment' featuring Norberto

A few things: 
- If you need a ride from town or can offer one, please let us know
- If you plan to come please RSVP [email protected] so we have an idea of numbers and give you address directions
- Friends, partners and family are welcome of course
- Dress for Dunedin weather in the hills (warm clothes, wind and rain proof) and make sure to wear shoes suitable for walking on a farm and up a hill (It's a fairly short walk but the track is not well defined in some places)
- Bring a water bottle
- Bring something to share for a potluck lunch
Join Qigong Christchurch for a special celebration on the summit of Mt Vernon - a short 5 minute walk from the Summit Rd at 11 am on Sunday 6 October.  We'll connect in and build the Qifield together for a better world, and then listen to the Global Awakening Day heart meditation...and then enjoy shared morning tea (of course :-) ).

So, weather permitting we'll be on the summit of Mt Vernon for a 11am start. See here for a map of the area. For those who would like to join us in walking up the hill (& back down again!), meet us at the end of Albert Terrace (St Martins) at 9.30am sharp.
